I've been wondering if tradescantia pallida is a succulent. What do you think?

Hmm, I'm not sure. Some YouTubers say this plant is a succulent plant, and I can see how it might look like one, but I don't think it quite fits into the succulent plant category for me. Just my opinion, though, and I'm open to being proven wrong! :)

The Ohio Spiderwort, or Spiderwort plant, is a native perennial wildflower. This plant is characterized by its grass-like shape with long, squiggly leaves. Sometimes, the flowers have three petals, blooming in the morning and closing in the afternoon like a prayer plant.
Fun fact: this plant has similar uses to aloe vera. The leaves are slightly slimy and can relieve pain when bitten by insects.
